Behind The Lens
My name is Bhavik Haria and I am 16 years old. I love everything about photography; be it looking for new angles or playing with the lighting- the ability to manipulate and capture a moment of time enthralls me. I am situated in London and am in my first year of A Levels.
Starting off… From a young age I have aspired to professionalise what started off as an interest and fast developed into a hobby. Looking at works that other photographers have produced was something I found myself doing extremely often as a child. Later I began to imagine myself as the photographer behind each amazingly scenic or eye catching work of art. It wasn’t long before I was experimenting with our own family camera either…
One particular event that has stayed with me is a truly fantastic trip to the Far East in 2006. The landscapes and all round beauty of the areas we visited had me in awe as I took in all the potential this amazing place had for a photographer to recreate in his or her own style and perspective. And that’s exactly what I did…I must have taken a crazy amount of photos!
Have been trained by award winning photographer Viral Shah.
